Open Access, Copyright & Self-Archiving Policy

Open Access

The American Journal of Science and Medical Research (AJSMR) (ISSN: 2377-6196), published by Advaitha Innovative Research Association (AIRA), is a fully Open Access, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal. All content published in AJSMR is made freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or payment barriers, in line with the journal's mission to share scientific and medical research as widely as possible among researchers, practitioners, and the public.

Readers may read, download, and print any article published in AJSMR free of charge, and may reuse the content in accordance with the licensing terms below.

Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors publishing in AJSMR retain copyright of their work.
  • Upon acceptance, authors are required to complete and submit the journal's Author Copyright Certificate, confirming that the work is original and granting AJSMR the right of first publication.
  • Published articles are made available under an open access license that permits readers to read, download, copy, distribute, and use the content for non-commercial scholarly purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission for the reuse of any previously copyrighted material (figures, tables, images, or extended text) included in their manuscript, and for providing evidence of this permission at the time of submission.

Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)

AJSMR permits and encourages authors to self-archive the final accepted version of their article in any OAI-compliant institutional or subject-based repository, personal website, or academic networking platform, with appropriate acknowledgement of its original publication in AJSMR (including the article's DOI/URL, where available).

Digital Preservation and Archiving

Published issues of AJSMR remain permanently accessible through the journal's online archive at ajsmrjournal.com/archives.php. The journal is indexed with DOAJ, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, Indian Science Abstracts, NCBI-PubMed Researcher ID, and Publons, which further supports the long-term discoverability and preservation of published content.
